Who Influences You?

We are apt to have someone or something that influences us in the decisions we make or had made. Whether in our private or public lives, this occurs. These may either be for our benefit or downfall. Therefore, it is vital to ourselves and to others that we keep away from those who would cause actions that would be regretted now or in the future. The ones that we associate with can cause us to lose sight of our hopes and dreams.

This was quite evident in the major events throughout history. Especially leading up to this past election, the Republicans in Congress were falling like flies because of poor judgement. It seemed as the closer to the primaries and the election had gotten that political, military, religious, and corporate scandals abounded. Though old Harry, had been corrupt as those Republicans, this Democrat received no appropriate retribution. Democrats and a host of voters have a skewed sense of right and wrong. The American people are vastly in a state of blissful ignorance concerning the ecomic condition of the nation and the price of freedom. The fact that the economy even after the events of 9/11, Katrina, and unto even remains blurred in their view of reality. Sadly, this nation of once unbending will have now retreated to the caves of fear and denial. No common sense is allowed there to show forth its light to dispel the darkness. All the good things done to preserve liberty and the economy are ignored. The call for change overrides the need for continued perseverance in these crucial times of historic proportions. The associations of those voters with such politicians are detrimental to America and our allies abroad. WW II was fought with a greater cost of lives and money. The result of the effort had brought victory. After Spain had taken its troops out of Iraq, they suffered an extreme attack by terrorists. The association of terrorists demands and weak politicians had serious consequences. This election in the USA proves that this nation is ripe for defeat and slavery by the enemies of Democracy. The terrorists had said vote out Repulicans to the voters. The majority bowed down in humiliation and obeyed. The next step is complete surrender in or before 2008. This is the direction that this nation seems to be headed. Republican voters allowed defeat by apathy and laziness. They will pay dearly for that in the years to come. The excuses of scandal and war will not hold up when examined by future historians. The Democratic Party had scandals and still came out winners. Republicans must make a choice now instead of in 2008 as to whether the Republican values will be victorious. If this election is any indication of things to come, the direction of the Republican Party is only downward.
