Common Sense

"Common Sense" in danger of extinction. Our society is rampant with ignorance in government downward. Nobody seems to use common sense any more in making important decisions. The Democrats are doing it just as some former ousted Republican morons. Democrats are hypocritical in their actions and words. Al Gore that whining old bore reaps benefits by business dealings that contribute to "Global Warming" while criticizing other businesses that he is not getting profits in return. The Democrats kept their big mouths shut when their boy "Bill" that former White House Renter fired about twenty nine prosecutors without any hoopla. He rent out the Lincoln bedroom for influencial guests. It makes me sick. Bush does about twenty less and the Dems criy worse than a baby that wants its mother's milk. Though the President and staff wants to give the bottled milk of information, the Dems want to seek their teeth into the very breast to inflict enough pain for political gain. The ousted Republicans caught taking money from unethical dealings and immoral actions toward interns were ignorant in thinking they could continue to get away with their actions. Democrats Like "Harry" can do wrong and get a free pass without suffering the wrath of their Party. The donkey is a very good reflection of their Party in my humble and free opinion. I DO VOTE. I am not Party blind. My vote goes for the persons that will best perform the duties of that offices for which they are running. Illegal immigrationnts are not entitled to all of the benefits of legal ones. Common sense says if you break the law that priviledges will severly be denied available to the law abiding citizens and immigrants. No. We want to blur that until ignorance overshadows the former. Those who break our laws get the same or better treatment than those who keep it. Just ignore their blatant violation of our immigration policy because of the jobs they perform. The majority of soldiers fighting for our freedoms believe in their cause. They had volunteered for service. Those who are complaining would kiss the terrorists bottoms than defend the rights of humanity to live in democrasy. Those soldiers should be treated as our nations royalty. They are giving their lives in their duty to this country. However, the few are blown up by the media as the majority against the very mission that they are dying to achieve. Our automakers are in trouble because the product they have put out is too expensive and lacks the quality of foreign competitors. Not all greed is good for our economy. The more that they received resulted in higher prices and more defects in production. Common sense was ignored by both sides. the consumer was being turned off by the US auto makers ever increasing prices. This is just one economic example in a long line of other ones . School staff members are still having sex with students after seeing the results of previous public examples. The former student that had held up a sign in public promoting illegal drug activity claims it was freedom of speech. Get real. Our society is going down into the cesspool of stupidity.

Universal Healthcare

Universal Healthcare
Universal health care is without a doubt the stupidest idea that has been proposed by simple minds. It has been a failure in Europe and Canada. If our America’s system of healthcare was so bad, why do so many people from other countries seek solutions to their medical problems from our physicians and medical institutions? I admit in fact that it is not perfect and has problems. However, it is much better than any other country's system. Who are the ones that think it will work? One can just look at the way it has not worked in other countries as to providing their people with timely and quality medical services. I personally have an aide whose mother had to come here for treatment instead of her own country because of the lack of medical expertise; medical equipment; great financial expense; and immediate requirement for treatment. Other countries/ economies are struggling under the expense of such an unreasonable financial burden.
I am not a lawyer or have any personal friends or relatives in that field. Therefore, I feel I can speak without bias or undue influence. Lawsuits for medical malpractice or accidents resulting in disability claims have been abused by frauds and lazy people. One former coworker of mine from about nineteen years ago had now been dead for more than ten years and without any close family ties to my knowledge. He had received a good hourly wage besides his disability check. He had been getting the check because of not being able to work. However, this disabled individual had lifted and hung one hundred and twenty five-pound sheets of dry wall and carried fifty pound boxes containing nails as well as joint compound. It amazed me how he worked being disabled. Now that I am disabled, my ability to even pick up twenty pounds with my right arm is very strenuous and not possible with my left one. Some are reasonable legal actions of victims suing for serious results by a physician or medical business. However, the costs to the good ones are not considered in the attempt to make the guilty party pay an extreme price for their actions. Therefore, the innocents suffer the injustice of unfair treatment. They have higher malpractice insurance increases that force them to take serious actions to deal with them. Some just under the huge stress just quit; limit their time; or type of procedures they are willing to preform. Who is served in the final analysis by such extreme restitution amounts? The lawyers and courts get the major portion. The lawyers proclaim it sends the message but they require huge sums for their part. It would be fair if only the guilty paid for their actions. However, insurance companies punish the good and the bad to cover the extreme financial amounts awarded in court. Everyone in the end becomes the victim except for those that are truly guilty. Do unforseen accidents happen that were not intended? Do we all make mistakes? Yes! When I had become disabled, my desire was to make the guilty pay dearly for my condition. However, they got off because of a lack of witnesses and technicalities. That allowed me to see that my desire had not taken into consideration who would have suffered for the amount of my revenge. My medical needs are paid through Federal and State programs. Therefore, my desire is to keep my needs to a minimum or reasonable amount so as too not be a greater burden to everyone else. The guilty and the innocent both pay into the insurance programs that take care of me. Why should I take advantage of the innocent and make them become victims too?
I write in the way that is my custom of speaking. I just learned that in my word processor there is a tool for grammar. For those who have been offended by my past posts as for correct grammar usage, I give you my sincere apology. My writing is from my heart. How many of us use perfect grammar when we are talking to one another?

WHY CONTINUE TO BLOG?

WHAT MOTIVATES US TO CONTINUE TO BLOG?
It is a question that has been raised because journalists say that we are not important and unqualified. I heard it said that blogs will end soon. The ability to share our views through this mode of communication is amazing to me. As a highschool student, my teacher had told me to not even consider learning about computers because of my desire to work in the field of construction. Since an unexpected event ended my physical ability to continue in that career, my mind was turned to writing on a manual typewriter. It was discarded when I discovered my old teacher had been wrong about my ability to learn about computers. Having had no formal training, my adventure through the passed some twelve years has been by trial and error. There have been educators in my life who had discouraged me from pursuing writing poetry and computer training. Both of them had their degrees and diplomas backing up their judgements of my ability to write poetry and learn to use a computer. However, I am now a published poet and use both desktop and laptop computers. My fourth grade English teacher’s public humiliation of me in class had prevented me from being a serious writer of poetry until maybe around about 1992. Last year was when I created my first blogs. These were monumental events considering that I am the only one in my immediate family that can use a computer for more than just computer games. Writing for the sake of just filling space is not what motivates me. There are obstacles which must be dealt with that prevents me from writing as much as greatly desired Whatever my blog contains must had in the past or now so moved me that it must be included. Articles written by journalists can be correct in all the rules of English usage while not being understood by those of lesser knowledge. The blog is the communication of the writer’s personal style to the readers. In my opinion, some writer’s write articles because they have the responsibility to an employer and not to the readers. The words are as fresh as moldy bread. You can so quickly go away forgetting what you heard or read. My writing is similar like that force within the volcano which thrusts out the substances which no more can be contained. The words must usher forth from my heart through the fingers and onto my internet blog where it can be poured out with the heat of intense passion for all to see. That is what motivates me. If I read the past entries, they must have that same impact as if just the new ones. My desire is that my words just like the molten lava will leave its impact in whatever direction it flows.

Who Influences You?

We are apt to have someone or something that influences us in the decisions we make or had made. Whether in our private or public lives, this occurs. These may either be for our benefit or downfall. Therefore, it is vital to ourselves and to others that we keep away from those who would cause actions that would be regretted now or in the future. The ones that we associate with can cause us to lose sight of our hopes and dreams.

This was quite evident in the major events throughout history. Especially leading up to this past election, the Republicans in Congress were falling like flies because of poor judgement. It seemed as the closer to the primaries and the election had gotten that political, military, religious, and corporate scandals abounded. Though old Harry, had been corrupt as those Republicans, this Democrat received no appropriate retribution. Democrats and a host of voters have a skewed sense of right and wrong. The American people are vastly in a state of blissful ignorance concerning the ecomic condition of the nation and the price of freedom. The fact that the economy even after the events of 9/11, Katrina, and unto even remains blurred in their view of reality. Sadly, this nation of once unbending will have now retreated to the caves of fear and denial. No common sense is allowed there to show forth its light to dispel the darkness. All the good things done to preserve liberty and the economy are ignored. The call for change overrides the need for continued perseverance in these crucial times of historic proportions. The associations of those voters with such politicians are detrimental to America and our allies abroad. WW II was fought with a greater cost of lives and money. The result of the effort had brought victory. After Spain had taken its troops out of Iraq, they suffered an extreme attack by terrorists. The association of terrorists demands and weak politicians had serious consequences. This election in the USA proves that this nation is ripe for defeat and slavery by the enemies of Democracy. The terrorists had said vote out Repulicans to the voters. The majority bowed down in humiliation and obeyed. The next step is complete surrender in or before 2008. This is the direction that this nation seems to be headed. Republican voters allowed defeat by apathy and laziness. They will pay dearly for that in the years to come. The excuses of scandal and war will not hold up when examined by future historians. The Democratic Party had scandals and still came out winners. Republicans must make a choice now instead of in 2008 as to whether the Republican values will be victorious. If this election is any indication of things to come, the direction of the Republican Party is only downward.

WELCOME TO MY WINDOW

The name of this blog came to me at night. Have you looked at the window when the only light was in the room and outside was only darkness?. The reflection of yourself and things inside were more clearly seen. However, if there was enough light outside as inside, you could see things that were not visible when obscured by the dark. It is limited to that amount of light both inside and out and as to the size of the window through which one looks. Welcome to my window through which I view the reflection of myself and the world outside my humble home in the countryside.
